HOT LUNCH AT SCHOOL?

So, it seems that most of you disagree with me about starting at 8 in the morning. Ok, I guess I will have to accept that.... However, I have another good suggestion that I would like to hear your opinions about:

- In most schools in Europe, pupils can buy a hot meal every day, for their lunch. Personally, I mean that this could be a good idea to follow also for Norwegian schools. The problem is just; who is going to pay for this? The school, the parents, the government, or someone else?
- What do you think is good/bad about serving a hot meal in schools, and who do you think should pay for this? Do you think it could be a good idea just to try out, or is it just a waste of time and money? Do you think it would be good for the pupils to eat a good warm lunch every day? Why/why not?

Please let me hear your personal thoughts about this topic before Monday December, 14th - and do remember to look at the assessment criteria (vurderingskriteriene) before you start writing.

Why not start school at 8 in the morning?

Do you know the expression "to be an early bird"? It describes someone who likes to get up early in the morning. Well, I am an early bird, and because of that I wish we could start school at 8 instead of at 8.15. In my opinion there are only advantages by starting early, and one of them is that it is so quiet in the morning, as compared to later in the day.
- So, what is your opinion on this matter? Do you agree with me or not? I'm looking forward to hearing your views and arguments on this "not so very important matter!"
